Najib menerusi kenyataan di Facebooknya hari ini turut menimbulkan persoalan sama ada Touch N Go (TnG) atau PLUS memberi rebat bagi pemilik SmartTAG yang tidak lagi berfungsi sekiranya plaza tol beralih kepada sistem RFID sepenuhnya.
“Adakah syarikat TnG atau PLUS akan memberi rebat bagi pemilik SmarTAG yang tidak berfungsi lagi sekiranya plaza tol beralih sepenuhnya kepada sistem RFID?
“Syarikat TnG dimiliki bank CIMB, Ant Group dari China, syarikat insurans AIA Group dari Amerika Syarikat dan firma pelaburan Bow Wave Capital dari New York,” kata Najib hari ini.
Sebelum ini, akhbar melaporkan, transaksi tol menggunakan tag RFID untuk kenderaan ringan persendirian (Kelas 1) dilaksanakan di laluan Juru, Pulau Pinang hingga ke Skudai, Johor di Lebuhraya Utara-Selatan (PLUS) bermula 10 malam 15 Januari 2022. – UTUSAN ONLINE
